The Earth is very mysterious. When you see it from space, it appears blue and muddy green and you can even see tornadoes. There are also a lot of disasters that can happen on Earth. A lot of things that happen on our planet are unpredictable. If we lived on Venus or Mars or Saturn, life would be worse. Here, people have figured out a way to survive in harsh times. To me it seems weird that this place is the best place we can live.
The Earth has many different habitats that support life. From dry deserts to freezing polar ice caps, life exists everywhere. Our planet supports life on air, in water, and on land. It seems farfetched, almost impossible to live in a jungle, not knowing how to escape from predators. But there are millions of animals that do it!
It is amazing that people have discovered a way to survive on Earth. It is one of the reasons I want to study geography. I want to discover more secrets that the Earth has to reveal.
